Spirit of a tinkerer - engaging in activities outside of work to further your knowledge, playing with new ideas, and being involved with the community, be it twitter, blogging, stackoverflow, open source contributions, meetups, mentoring, etc. You'll be encouraged to spend 20% of your time investing in long term value for the company including refactoring, blogging, and experimenting with new technologies and techniques.
